New Jersey State Police - Crooked cop

Mays Landing, New Jersey 4 comments

this one trooper lives in hour area thinks he can drive like a maniac up and down my street with his tinted windows so we cant see him but he lives right near me, what a joke thats what we have for guys protecting the streets and writing us tickets, what has the state police come to Trp. Wetzel Beware of this officer he may come off as kind but has the cocky attitude as a young teenager and thinks because he has a badge he can do whatever he wants it just embarasses the rest of the department but i really done think he cares, and i have to live next to him....20 years i have lived here he comes in a few years ago now he turned our street in to a racing road

You still haven't said anything that would indicate he is "crooked". And what did I say that makes you think I'm defending him..."call in and report him"; "Inconsiderate"; "Not too bright"??? Don't play mind games with me...you aren't equipped for it.

well maybe a little over zealous? i really dont think so its the tinted windows, loud exhaust, speeding down a residential street along with his friends, drinking and driving during his late night partying when they need to refuel... and so on, with all due respect local officers know him we have called in the past and they never even come out, Its a dead end street one quarter mile long, so its totally un called for please do not defend people like this for crying out load i have two little kids in my front yard why should we live in fear?

Speeding doesn't mean a cop is "crooked".Inconsiderate...yes.

Not too bright...perhaps. But "crooked"? That's a bit over-zealous on your part. And since you know him, why don't you call in and report him.

The local police could monitor your street. He may get off with only a warning (being a fellow cop) but he'll know the neighborhood is watching him and if he continues it won't be too long before the 'fellow cop' mentality wears off and then he'll be facing an actual citation.
